Accessibility Statement
Last updated 25 September 2026
This site is built to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or a custom stylesheet. This statement sets out what has been done, what has been measured, and what has not been verified.
Conformance status
This site is designed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. It has been assessed against those guidelines internally. It has not been audited by an independent third party, so we describe it as substantially conformant rather than certified.
Measures taken
- Semantic structure. The page uses real headings in a logical order, landmark regions, and lists, so that assistive technology can convey the structure rather than an undifferentiated block of text.
- Colour contrast, measured. Every text and background combination has been calculated against the WCAG formula. Body text on the page ground measures 14.4:1 against a 4.5:1 requirement, and no text on the site falls below the Level AA threshold for its size.
- Colour is never the only signal. No information is conveyed by colour alone.
- Keyboard access. Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, focus is visible where it lands, and a skip link is provided so keyboard users need not traverse the header on every page.
- Text resizing and reflow. The layout is fluid and uses relative units. It reflows to a single column on narrow screens and remains usable when text is enlarged or the browser is zoomed to 200%.
- No motion. There is no animation, no autoplay, no carousel, and nothing that moves, flashes, or updates without your action.
- No images of text. All content is real text, so it can be resized, restyled, read aloud, or translated. The site currently contains no photographs or informational images requiring alternative text; the two decorative graphic elements are marked as decorative and are skipped by screen readers.
- No time limits, pop-ups, or interruptions. Nothing expires, obscures the page, or demands a response.
- Language declared. The page language is set programmatically so screen readers use the correct pronunciation.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than imply they do not exist:
- No independent audit. The assessment above is our own. It has not been validated by an external accessibility auditor, and no formal testing has been carried out across the full range of assistive technology and browser combinations.
- Third-party typefaces. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts. If that service is unavailable or blocked, the page falls back to system typefaces — content and structure are unaffected, but the appearance will differ.
- Documents sent separately. Materials we send by email, such as a capabilities summary in PDF form, are not covered by this statement. If you need any document from us in an accessible format — tagged PDF, plain text, large print, or otherwise — ask and we will provide it.
Feedback

Please describe the page and what happened, and include the browser and any assistive technology you were using if you can. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to resolve or provide the content in an alternative format within ten business days. If something needs the information faster than that, say so and we will send it to you directly.
Alternative formats
Any information on this site is available on request in another form — by telephone, by email as plain text, or in large print. There is no charge and no need to explain why.
Assessment approach
This statement is based on a self-evaluation carried out against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria, including programmatic calculation of every colour contrast ratio used on the site, review of the document structure and landmark regions, and keyboard-only navigation of every page.
If this site presents a barrier for you, tell us and we will fix it.
